by KU Grad 08 on Nov 3, 2009 8:13 PM CST up reply actions

it's called a little class known as Sales Strategy...

it was talk by Gary Hawk maybe. It was the anti campaigns. My wife took campaigns and spent buttloads of time doing stupid crap for the class. Sales Strategy pretty much you had to show up to class and you got an A. That was known as my semester de Louise’s West.

I dunno if they still offer that, I never heard of it. Campaigns was stupid crap but I didn’t care because my last semester was just campaigns and two poly sci classes that I never went to and still got an A and B+ which I am very proud of.

Strat Comm! Woot woot. Now if my awesome degree could only help land me a nice real job haha.

they might not offer it anymore...

it used to be the alternative to Campaigns. They really discouraged it though. My class only had about 8 people in it, but it was a nice way to wrap up my college career.

As far as a real job…I always just say Business Communications. People don’t know what the hell Strategic Communications is. Hell I’m not sure I do either. I just know it’s a little bit harder than regular communications.

His inability to coach

should be the biggest reason for the fire Dan Hawkins movement. We have a head coach who can’t coach. Now, his recruiting has been solid but how many top recruits are going to come to CU now when a “star” like Scott bolts before his sophomore year is up? Screw it. I hate the program.
