Comparing X and John Wall's Debuts
It's shocking how much better X was.

Yup.
Of course, the real story here is how in the world did Kentucky, the #5 team in the nation, need to be bailed out by its all-everything freshman just to beat a MAC team at home. But somehow, I doubt that’ll be mentioned much.
It's rather ironic that people will actually have to pay money to see Michael Moore's new Anti-Capitalism film, don't you think?
Check out
this exchange between Miami (OH) coach Charlie Coles and a UK beat reporter. Kind of illustrates my above point. Classic.

That is hilarious.
Kentucky is an island even if they don’t touch the sea.

With everything else that's been going on...
…this was a great pick me up. Thanks.
I don't know, I like to think that things started out initially with good intentions, but then we just loused it up. Kind of like intelligence. We have this glorious thing that allowed us to survive for millenia and now we use it to write porn film plots involving pterodactyls. Talk about wasting the gift.

Eh, don't be haters. :)
Wall is immensely talented, even if somewhat out of control during most of this game. UK has massive talent, but outside of Patrick Patterson, almost no experience. They’re going to look bad a lot early, but by the end of the year, they’ll be a scary team for us to play. I’m just incredibly happy NCHCBS convinced X to come to Kansas.

Certinly don't disagree
Wall is the real deal. Absolutely. I just get a kick out of how the polls and everybody anoints UK now that Calipari is their coach and he’s brought in a bunch of talent. They’re #5 in the nation right now and almost lost at home to a MAC team picked 4th in its division. I know they’ll be very, very good and downright scary by the end of the year, but they’re not the 5th best team in the nation right now. No way.
Polls=joke. Except at #1 right now, of course… ;)

also
Calipari’s team allowed another three at the end of the game. Granted it wasn’t as big of a game as April 2008, but it's nice to know he can make adjustments.

Just joking of course.
The sarc font eats up a couple lines when you use it. Preview it first.

I will never complain
about Cal’s lack of coaching skills. I prefer he remain stubborn on that one, personally.

I would like to add...
Not only is Miami (OH) a middling MAC team… in their first game they lost to TOWSON!
RODD TEESING, my arch-nemesis! Give us back our TODD, you rapscallion!
