Very Cool...thanks for posting...
the photo section is very neat. Seeing the evolution of Stadiums, press boxes, the openness of them in years past. Not too mention the fact that some have nothing around them when they were built. Illinois for example might as well been in the middle of nowhere.
Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything but they make you smile when pushed down the stairs.
I had the same thought.
Illinois, OU, Nebraska all out in the middle of no where. However, the Illini stadium was the only one (other than the colleseum I guess) that looked like a big time stadium to start out. Other than adding a new press/luxury box that stadium is relatively unchanged. And still looking good.
Also made note of all those stadiums that had tracks and now do not…
