Well, Saturday sure was a tough Open Game Thread to work through. We were without our prime performer, our Sherron Collins, in Denver. And, in the hour prior to the game, all of SB Nation exploded, so our pregame discussion was essentially zero. So, yeah, that wasn't fun.
And still, we nearly got to 500. We fell short, but we surpassed 450, giving us some false sense of accomplishment. I mean, we all really did a great job, guys!
Seriously, though, thanks go to all who showed up. It was fun.
Here is the statistical information:

Warden11, who has won the MVC (Most Valuable Commenter) award for two straight games, had to leave at halftime, and was thus eliminated from competition. This opened the door for KCsince88 to walk in, as he coasted to a twenty-five comment victory (remember, me and Denver don't count, since we're moderators) over labbadabba. Congrats, KC, for the MVC honors.
Also, special thanks goes to Ralphie D and Hansborough, who posted ridiculous advertising comments while pretending to be rooting for the Jayhawks. They deserve some sort of recognition. Thanks to everyone who showed up, though, seriously. All of you made it another fun OGT; hopefully we can have an even better one Wednesday night in another huge conference game.
