Some Bad News About Some Good Hawks...
Mario Chalmers and Darrell Arthur find themselves in a bit of trouble early in their NBA careers. ESPN is reporting the two made a bit of a poor decision during the NBA Rookie transition program currently underway. The result is being thrown out of the program this year, having to repeat next year, some fines and possible suspensions. Oh yeah and a bit of humiliation to go along with it. Personally I don't see it this as a huge deal but a little dissapointing and not the best way to start your NBA career. Shouldn't affect them long term but still not something you want your name attached to. Regardless the shot still went in the trophy above still resides in Lawrence.

Legalize It!
Sorry to get political, but this is nonsense. We’re supposed to be shocked that NBA players smoke weed and hang out with hot chicks? These guys should be placed in the advanced class for the rookie orientation. I still want to know how they got caught, though.
It’s a plant. You smoke it, giggle at cartoons, and then eat a bunch. Give me a pot head over a drunk any day.

What I don't get is that Beasley was in the room
and yet he didn’t get in trouble at all.
As far as the whole marijuana thing, I’m on the fence. Sure, it shouldn’t be a problem that they smoke the stuff, but they should have enough sense not to smoke it while at an NBA event. Seriously.
