KU Football 08' Regular Season Record

The Jayhawks enter the 08' regular season with more excitement among their fans than ever before.  The question is how does it play out?  The more difficult schedule is well documented and so are the losses of Collins and Talib.  So the question is how do we finish.  Was the miracle of last year a fluke or are we on our way.  I didn't include every scenario but did give a pretty good range...

Welcome.

I voted for 8-4, with a decent chance at 9-3.

That was kind of my feeling...

with the third loss probably to either Texas or TTech

No Way

We aren’t losing to Misery again. And we aren’t losing a home game. I’ll go with 10-2, though (Losses to OU and an upset loss to Nebraska).

Come on, guys- we can’t be predicting a loss to the Tiggers ALREADY! They still have that bonehead Pinkel leading the charge, after all.

Believe Me

I will be at arrowhead with every intention of cheering on to a win but it is hard to deny there is a lot of talent on that team and if you were at arrowhead last year as I was it wasn’t exactly an even crowd and I fear it could be worse this year.

Eh.

I think a loss to Noman is a near-accepted fact (although it wouldn’t be too big of an upset for us to win) and I really don’t see us beating Misery. I’m not penciling it in as a L, of course, but they are clearly more talented and will likely have another ‘home field advantage’.

Still, I think we split the two home games against the Texas schools (at least), with a halfway decent chance of losing Nebraska or South Florida.
