Thornton to Miss Insight Bowl

A little bit of disappointing news out of Tempe today as KUSports.com is reporting that junior starting corner Justin Thornton did not make the trip and will not play in the Insight Bowl due to disciplinary reasons. 

Kendrick Harper will get the start in his place and while he has proved capable at times throughout his career, Thornton had shown significant upside at the corner spot this year.  Hopefully whatever the situation is Thornton learns from it, moves on and for his sake hopefully it won’t be a major detriment to the team.
