Earnest Norman Decommits from Kansas, Headed to Nebraska
In a story that has been developing for a while Earnest Norman a Kansas commitment at Linebacker for 2009 has switched his school of choice to Nebraska. A few weeks ago it became clear there were concerns on Norman's part and he appeared on his way to decommiting from a school for the 2nd time in the last 6 months. Certainly a loss for Kansas but a lot of external factors came into play on this one. I've known it was very likely for a little while but out of respect it needed to come from the player and in the end it's probably best that he won't be coming to Lawrence. The above link is simply to his rivals profile for those of you who want a little more background.

Wow
this sucks. Especially coming on the heels of us losing to Nebraska.

yeah it was kind of an extra...
kick in the balls…but not entirely unexpected, he seems to be shopping around a lot and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him end up in Texas in the end if the opportunity presents itself. I will say this though he does have his reasons and I don’t think they are selfish ones.
Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything but they make you smile when pushed down the stairs.
