Oklahoma Linebacker Picks Kansas
Kansas football picked up the 16th known commitment of the year in linebacker Juilian Jones out of Lawton Oklahoma. This kid has great size, good speed and could see playing time early on for the Jayhawks.

Only 2 stars on rivals and not ranked
Interesting, I don’t like these rankings because Kansas fans know more than anyone, that a lot of times they don’t mean anything. Still, they are a measuring stick. I trust Mangino’s staff to find good players from every area. Depth never hurts.

Sounds like he attended few camps...
and there is limited video on him which both contributed to his low ranking…However, word is both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State would have offered him after they saw him this year but they were full at LB. Furthermore…there are some excellent guys over on the rivals board that are very excited over this guy so I tend to believe he has a good shot at being a hidden gem…hopefully he stays hidden…
Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything but they make you smile when pushed down the stairs.
Forgot to mention...
This kid is a monster at 6’2" 250 coming out of HS and his 40 time is reported at 4.6 so we shall see…
