2007 Big 12 Football Awards honor Jayhawks

The Big-12 announced their 2007 Football Awards yesterday.  I am sure this topic will be covered soon by the site's resident football expert in more detail but I wanted to get this big news posted quickly as several Jayhawks were honored.

Mark Mangino - Coach of the Year
James McClinton - Defensive Lineman of the Year and All-Big 12 First Team
Marcus Herford - Special Teams Player of the Year and All-Big 12 Second Team

Anthony Collins - All-Big 12 First Team Offensive Lineman
Joe Mortensen - All-Big 12 First Team Linebacker
Aqib Talib - All-Big 12 First Team Defensive Back
Todd Reesing - All-Big 12 Second Team Quarterback
Brandon McAnderson - All-Big 12 Second Team Running Back
Marcus Henry - All-Big 12 Second Team Wide Receiver

Also, Ryan Cantrell (OL), James Holt (LB), Mike Rivera (LB), Cesar Rodriguez (OL), Darrell Stuckey (DB) and Scott Webb (PK) received All-Big 12 Honorable Metion.
